Recoating is simply an abrasion of the surface of the floor, thoroughly cleaning and applying a fresh coat of finish. Recoating is a one-day process and the quickest way to get back that “new” look. This is also the perfect time for you to change the sheen of your floors to give the room a completely different appearance. Recoating once every couple of years will aid in keeping those floors looking like new.
